7HARD is proud to announce the signing of Minuetum, for the release of their debut album entitled “Haunted Spirit”. The album, featuring Jason Mercury (ex-Outloud) on Guitars, and Ignacio Lopez (Seliger, Lord Kraven) on Bass and also Bob Katsionis (Firewind, Revolution Renaissance, Outloud) as a guest musician on guitars. The album is produced by Bob Katsionis (Firewind, Outloud, Revolution Renaissance) and mixed & mastered by Timo Tolkki (ex- Stratovarius, Revolution Renaissance), will be released in Europe on 02. July 2010.

The album: The new Minuetum album is a classic keyboard based Power Metal album highly influence by Scandinavian power metal band like Stratovarius and Sonata Arica. All songs are based on the keyboard melodies of founding member and main composer Dimitris Melidis, a combination of neoclassical keyboard melodies with heavy and fast rhyme and lead guitars, typical power metal double bass-drums and atmospheric elements.

Psycho Choke joined 7Hard!

Psycho Choke – the quintet from Greece signed to 7hard records for a global publish of their new album “Unraveling Chaos“, and came up with the fresher hardcore release of 2010. Mixed and mastered at the Hansen studios (Denmark) by Jacob Hansen (Nightrage, Heaven Shall Burn, Volbeat) and wrapped up with the insane art of the voice of Septic Flesh, Seth Siro Anton (Moonspell, Paradise Lost, Exodus, Heaven Shall Burn e.t.c.).

Ανακατατάξεις στους Danger Angel

Με ανακοίνωση που ανέβηκε στη σελίδα που έχει το συγκρότημα στο myspace μάθαμε ότι ο Σπύρος Φουσσέκης, ο ένας εκ των δυο κιθαριστών των Danger Angel, αποφάσισε να εγκαταλείψει το συγκρότημα, λόγω επαγγελματικών και οικογενειακών υποχρεώσεων.
Στη συνέχεια παραθέτουμε το μήνυμα του Σπύρου προς τους φίλους του σχήματος αλλά και την ανακοίνωση των Danger Angel.
«Αγαπητοί φίλοι,
λόγω αυξημένων επαγγελματικών και οικογενειακών απαιτήσεων και υποχρεώσεων, πήρα την απόφαση, να αποχωρήσω άμεσα από τους Danger Angel.
H απόφαση ήταν σίγουρα δύσκολη και το τίμημα μεγάλο, ωστόσο προς το παρόν η κίνηση αυτή είναι μονόδρομος...

«Από καρδιάς, ευχαριστούμε το Σπύρο για την προσφορά του στους Danger Angel όλα αυτά τα χρόνια! Ο Σπύρος ήταν πάντα ένας από εμάς και θα παραμείνει έτσι. Η θέση του δεύτερου κιθαρίστα στο συγκρότημα δεν θα αναπληρωθεί. Άλλωστε, όταν χάνεις ένα μέλος της οικογένειάς σου δεν μπορείς να το αντικαταστήσεις με κανέναν άλλο.
Ο Σπύρος Φουσέκης είναι ένα από τα ιδρυτικά μέλη των Danger Angel και ήταν πάντα παρών σε όλες τις καλές αλλά και τις δύσκολες στιγμές. Περάσαμε πολλά ωραία χρόνια σαν μπάντα και θα περάσουμε ακόμα περισσότερα σαν φίλοι. Οι λόγοι της αποχώρησης είναι, πράγματι, προσωπικοί, σημαντικοί και απόλυτα κατανοητοί.

REVOLUTION RENAISSANCE, the band led by former STRATOVARIUS mastermind Timo Tolkki (guitar; ex-STRATOVARIUS), has set "Trinity" as the title of its forthcoming third album, tentatively due in the fall via Napalm Records. The CD, which is once again being engineered by Santtu Lehtiniemi, follows a more "power metal" direction than its predecessor, last year's "Age Of Aquarius", although it will not be a clone of Timo's previous efforts with STRATOVARIUS. The vocals and the drums — which are being handled by REVOLUTION RENAISSANCE's Brazilian contingent, consisting of Gus Monsanto and Bruno Agra, respectively — were recorded in Brazil. According to Tolkki, the new CD will sound "very organic and natural, but also very modern."

In other news, REVOLUTION RENAISSANCE has tapped FIREWIND's Bob Katsionis as its new keyboardist. The band's current lineup is as follows:

REVOLUTION RENAISSANCE in October 2009 parted ways with bassist Justin Biggs and keyboardist Michael Khalilov because it "became evident to everybody that REVOLUTION RENAISSANCE was not the right band for the guys," the group said in a statement. "Justin is more of a thrash guy and Mike expected the music to be something totally different. Out of these reasons the decision has been made that it is better to go separate ways."

REVOLUTION RENAISSANCE recently signed a three-album deal with Napalm Records.

Recorded over three months in Finland, REVOLUTION RENAISSANCE's sophomore album, "Age Of Aquarius", was released in March 2009 via Scarlet Records. It was described in a press release as "by far the darkest, heaviest and most symphonic album that Tolkki has ever been involved in."

O Jorn κυκλοφορεί νέο δίσκο με όνομα...Dio!

Νομίζουμε ότι αυτό δεν έχει ξανασυμβεί στο χώρο του rock. Αν και ήταν αναμενόμενο ότι αμέσως μετά το θάνατο του Dio θα κυκλοφορήσουν tribute δίσκοι, ο Νορβηγός Jorn Lande μας εξέπληξε όλους με την ταχύτητα του. Ο νέος δίσκος του Jorn θα ονομάζεται Dio και θα κυκλοφορήσει στις δυο Ιουλίου από τη Frontiers Records.
Εκτός από τις διασκευές σε γνωστά κομμάτια του Dio θα υπάρχει και ένα νέο κομμάτι με τίτλο “Song For Ronnie James”, για το οποίο έχει ΗΔΗ γυριστεί και το video.
